Verde on Smith

I recently had dinner at this gorg spot called Verde on Smith in Brooklyn NY. The first thing I noticed was the amazing decor of the restaurant.

From the lighting to the brick walls or even the amazing bar set up, I was automatically appeased with choosing to walk into this place.

While I was taking in the ambience of the space, we quickly were approached by a waiter, he was friendly and tentative. He asked if we wanted to be seated outside or inside and was very accommodating about it because my party and I were extremely indecisive. He was patient and even gave his opinion on the matter.

We ended up choosing to sit inside.

I ordered a glass of wine and a ginger ale. As I browsed the menu of delicious italian choices,

I had a hard time making a decision because everything sounded so yummy, I ultimately ended up with the Penne alla Vodka.

Now let me be clear I order this mostly anytime I am somewhere that has italian dishes if I do not want a pasta that is to hardy, its quick and yummy so it is always my go to.

I say this to say that I am a tough critic when it comes to the dish, I like to think that I have tasted some of the best when it comes to the dish.

With that said I must say Verde did not let me down, the pasta was cooked perfectly the sauce dazzled my taste buds and I literally ate the entire thing, which I never do. I just couldnt stop eating it. It was honestly that great.

I glanced at the desert menu but was simply to full to order anything else.

I will be back for sure. It is a great place for dinner.

I learned that they do a brunch so I have to visit for that and I will let you guys know how it goes! Iam pretty sure at this point it will be great.
